iMIS e-Series allows your organization to conduct business and disseminate information over the Web while at the same time automating your back office – all in a single solution. Further, the iMIS e-commerce solution comes with integration for your financial and customer relation-ship management system. The iMIS e-business solution combines the full-featured iMIS back office system with Microsoft Site Server and Commerce Server technology – resulting in a rich, Web-based product.
All iMIS Web modules integrate with the iMIS back office software through the iMIS e-Integration component. Interfaces to third-party business systems are also available to create a seamless accounting process for all financial transactions from the Web to the back office.

Integrate Your Office with Your Website
These iMIS Web modules automatically and seamlessly integrate to the iMIS back-office software with the iMIS e-Integration component. This integration allows real-time updating of prices and product descriptions made from the back office in any client/server version. As a result, you need to make changes within iMIS or the Web modules only once.
Integration saves valuable staff time by synchronizing data and presenting a unified view between the Web and your back office. With the exception of e-Billing, payments made over the Web flow into your back office accounting system, eliminating duplicate data entry.

Customize Your Website
iMIS can be customized providing you with the flexibility to adapt iMIS to your business requirements. By leveraging this feature you can:

Customize Your Security
iMIS e-Security offers a multi-level security system; it allows for secure multiple sets of users or separate and secure organization contact management to your website.
Create different classes of users with varying levels of access. When accessing the secure areas of your website, all users must log in, which will establish their user class and defined level of access. For example, you may authorize customers to view and update data, such as their own name and address, but not that of others.

iMIS e-Billing
Collect Your Outstanding Balances Online
You can extend the power of iMIS e-Customer Management by adding the iMIS e-Billing module. iMIS e-Billing allows your members to pay their outstanding balances for such things as subscriptions with credit cards via an e-mail message. Upon receiving the e-mail notice, your organization can process the credit card information electronically using automatic credit card authorization in the payment windows of iMIS modules. Your customers can use the e-Billing module for specific types of payments or all of their open accounts receivable. For example, if a customer owes your organization for dues, events, and orders, the total amount owed can be paid in one transaction.

Note: iMIS e-Series is not designed to work with network connection speeds less than ISDN between the hosting Server and the association database. Using 33.6K modems or even 56K modems on production websites is inadequate. While this may work for one or two concurrent users during a demo, this small bandwidth will not hold up under a heavy load. Be sure to include the cost of a dedicated ISDN or better connection in the cost of an iMIS e-Series and Express! site.
