Tip of the Month - July, 2001 Adjusting Menu Bars
If you want to make the buttons
on the top and left menu bars smaller, you can remove the text below
the icon. This can be especially helpful if your monitor display
settings are too small to allow all of the buttons on the screen.
Or, if your top and left menu bars are already just icons, you can add
the text beneath them and this will make them larger.
Click Cancel on the Logon window
Go to Logon> Set Host Location Go to Cmds> Edit Check or un-check the Menu Bars options for ‘Show Text on Top Menu Bar’ and ‘Show Text on Left Menu Bar’ Close the Local Preferences window Go to Logon> Logon to Host, this will bring back your Logon window |
