Emailing Attachments From iMIS

1. Setup a group in your email package that uses the functionality of the mail server (i.e. techcommittee@test.com).

2. Create a new record in iMIS for this particular group. You may want to create a new non-member type for such groups. In the email field of this record, enter the group email address (i.e. techcommittee@test.com).

3. Pull up the Name Maintenance window and go to Membership>Reports>Letters>Sample New Member Letter(email)>Options>Letter Text. Click on Email and a new Mail Message will be created in your email package. Follow the steps to add an email attachment. In Outlook, you would choose Insert>File. You can then attach any file and send your email.
